As the birth place of the infamous San Antonio puffy tacos, Henrys has been in business since 1978. Initially, Henry worked at a restaurant with his brother carrying hope that hed be able to have his own one day. When experimenting with deep frying things, Henry decided to deep fry corn masa dough, also known as crispy tacos. With a few trial and errors and recipe revamps, the puffy taco was born, creating his dream business. As a result, this family-owned spot serves up Tex-Mex classics & signature tacos in a casual setting with a full bar.
