Bob and Grace Milton began Misty's as a "bottle club" in 1963, known as Club 63. When the liquor laws changed in 1965, they started with a small propane grill. This little grill eventually was replaced with a larger one. Finally, the addition of a rotisserie ushered in the era of Misty's Restaurant, named for Bob and Grace's favorite song, "Misty."
