Once a glamorous movie palace in the 1930s, and now a performing arts center for Seguins youth. A significant feature here is its accommodations for the hearing impaired. Seen as a cultural treasure, the Texas Theatre remains nearly as it was in 1931 with horsehair batting behind its Mediterranean murals, gilded hand-made mica lamps, original seats, and large-reel projectors.
