Found near the Deep Ellum Rail Station near downtown, the Traveling Man is a sculpture series found throughout the city. When Deep Ellum first began in the late 1800s, it was seen as a diverse community with a huge music scene and filled with restaurants and shops. As this area has progressed into more of an artistic gateway, the Traveling Man serves as an icon that symbolizes Deep Ellums history and future.
